Our Backstory

Hey fellow bikepacker…
I’m Harry, the founder of bikepacking rental Slovenia. I am a British mechanical engineer from Shropshire, but more recently have lived in Newcastle and Manchester. I have been cycling for a long time, but after a long trip along the Carretera Austral in Chile, I was completely inspired by bikepacking. I met so many incredible, interesting people (that may or may not have inspired my bike names) and saw so much beautiful nature.
After moving to Ljubljana and seeing many of the incredible trails and the true love of cycling this small country has, I decided that I wanted to help bring more of the brilliant bikepacking community to enjoy Slovenia without the absolute faff and cost of bringing your own bike over. I’m always happy to talk with you about bikepacking in Slovenia so that you can get the best out of your trip. See you on the trails!
Here are a few more of my bikepacking photos, I can’t wait to see yours!
